Short-Term Stay Services
In partnership with each guest, family, discharge planner and physician, The Laurels provides a complete range of short-term stay services from sub-acute to hospice care. We focus on the physical, social and emotional needs of our guests with a variety of Medically Complex Programs provided in a home-like environment.
Post-Acute Care
The Laurels specializes in post-acute care. Our post-acute programs are designed for our guests to achieve the highest level of physical, social and emotional independence possible. We use an interdisciplinary team of experienced clinicians to achieve planned patient outcomes. Respite Care
Our respite program offers a guest’s family or caregiver a reprieve from the demands of around-the-clock care. Along with the services, amenities and complex medical support mentioned above, we offer a holistic approach. We work with the primary caregiver and physician to provide the highest degree of social, emotional and physical comfort during each guest’s stay.
Hospice Care
When the traditional approach to care is not effective and a cure is not possible for a guest, hospice is a choice. Knowing that the physical pain from terminal illness may be difficult, our hospice program allows a guest to live as pain-free, comfortable, and full a life as possible. Care provided is under the direction of the guest, the guest’s family and his or her primary care physician. We can coordinate pastoral care services to ensure that each guest’s spiritual needs are met. Our hospice program focuses on the dignity and respect of the individual and focuses on the individual’s special needs.
